A little about me and my photography…
I am a Providence, RI based photographer, and I have been photographing weddings since 2009. I learned classical B&W technique in high school in Pennsylvania. I earned my BA at the George Washington University in Washington DC, and my MA at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England.
Prior to photographing weddings, I had experience in photojournalism, corporate portraits, sports, and fashion photography. I learned to capture fast action, catch instantaneous moments, work with difficult lighting, and make everyone looked beautiful. I draw upon all of these skills to develop my documentary photography style.
When I’m not behind a camera, I love running, biking, baking, my family, and my cats, Chet and Mars. Once in a while, I get a pretty good time in a half-marathon. My son loves to ask me questions about the nature of the universe, so I’m also getting pretty good at astrophysics.

Everyone loves surprises, but surprises on your wedding day should be limited to a special gift from your Mom or a heartfelt note from your bestie. Other than that, you went everything to happen exactly when it should happen, and you want everyone to be there when the need to be. To ensure this, and to get you all of the pictures you want, I stay on top of your schedule, and I make sure everyone else does too.
When I am photographing you for formal portraits, family groups shots, and poses, I keep everyone natural and relaxed, and I keep everything moving to maintain the flow of your day. When I’m getting candid photos, I move around a lot, and I stay invisible. My favorite compliment is when a bride and groom tell me, “I don’t know how you got these pictures! I didn’t even notice that you were there!”
I use the latest mirrorless cameras, professional zoom and prime lenses for that cinematic look, and I digitally edit everything so your photos look clear, sharp, bright, beautiful, and full of light.
